Week of March 15th
Monday- The Brackets are out, and the Tournament begins Thursday and we've got an action packed show beginning with former Blazer guard Jarrett Jack now with Toronto at 3:30pm. At 4pm ESPN's Bonnie Bernstein joins Isaac and Suke in studio discussing her new gig with ESPN Radio, and raising awareness to prevent DVT. Stockwatch critiques the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, then Bracketography.com's David Mihm helps Isaac and Suke prepare a winning bracket at 5:05. At 5:30pm we ask Saint Mary's head coach Randy Bennett how far his Gaels can advance, and if he would have any interest in the Oregon job when it opens up.
Tuesday- More Madness this Tuesday, as we look at great tournaments and players past with Jim Weber, founder of the website lostlettermen.com. We check in with former Jefferson High standout and current Lehigh guard Marquis Hall and find out how they plan to take down top seeded Kansas at 3:30pm. At 4:30pm Rich Lerner of the Golf Channel gives us the details for Tiger Woods' return to golf at The Masters. At 5pm Jay McGwire, brother of Mark, discusses his new book that describes the length to which Mark used PED's in the majors. And at 5:30pm we preview more of the tournament with ESPN College Basektball reporter Allen Hopkins.
Wednesday- More Tiger Woods fallout with local PGA Tour player Peter Jacobsen at 4:05pm and our favorite author John Feinstein at 5:00pm. Last chance to get those brackets filled out and turned in before the Madness commences, and our handicapper extraordinaire Brandon Lang gives you some last pointers on putting together a winning sheet at 5:30pm. Plus former MLB Commissioner Faye Vincent joins Isaac and Suke at 4:30pm to discuss his new book and the state of the game he once presided over.
Thursday & Friday- We are all doing what you're doing..playing hookey and watching the tournament. 1080 The FAN will be your exclusive home of the tournament in Portland.
