Oregon's Combat Uniforms

Here are the latest creations from Nike for the University of Oreogn... Expect to see these on September 3rd against LSU...

I am not a fan of just going with a "volt yellow" outline for the numbers, with all black filling it in. But, overall I think it is another with for Nike and another win for Oregon in the uniform race....

Man Crush... Day 41.... Stronger Than Ever...

Monday at Trail Blazers practice the FBI made Gerald Wallace an honorary agent. As part of their presentation, Wallace was given a hat, jacket, badge and a packet of information for the test to become an agent.

After the presentation Wallace said "I am definitely going ot pursue a career with the FBI. The only thing holding me back is my career in the NBA."

I wonder if people still miss Joel Pryzbilla....

All you need is a 12-Pack and the Pac-12 on a Sunday...

The innovation of Pac-12 Comissioner, Larry Scott, is continuing. With the NFL Lockout full-steam ahead and the possibility of a football-less fall on Sunday's, Rivals.com's Tom Dienhart, is reporting Comish Scott is tinkering with the idea of playing some of the Pac-12 schedule on Sunday if this lockout looms into the season.

For the full article: Click Here

I for one, love the idea of the Pac-12 playing on Sunday. How many times have we heard the complaint, "With all of the football in the South and Mid-west, no one watches the Pac-10."?

Not only is it exposure to a new audience that regularly would not watch Pac-12 football, it is also a great opportunity to promote the new brand and new conference with a little exclusivity.

The one catch is, you have to be very careful with what games you schedule for Sunday. Most of the marquee match-ups have already been snatched up by ABC and ESPN (ex. Oregon v. Cal). So, be sure to avoid blow outs and misfits. Sorry Huskies, Cougars and Buffaloes, you have no business being on this list.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Hoopdata.com ... Get Your Geek On...

Here ya go... One of the coolest features that I have ever seen on a stats website... The interactive graph powered by Google, or some crap, is pretty sweet.... You can compare and track individual player development through their career, year even minutes per game... On top of that, you can also compare them to and other active player in the league...

Play around with it... It is pretty impressive....
