As a freshman, Jordan led his Horizon Christian Hawks varsity basketball team to take the West Valley League championship and go to the 3A State Tournament. He averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds throughout the season and was named Player of the Year for the West Valley League. The Hawks made it all the way to the finals in the state tournament where Jordan averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds per game, led the tournament in field goal percentage and was named player of the game for all three rounds of the tournament. Tebbutt set a new record for the state tournament by pulling down 17 rebounds in the semi-finals game and was unanimously voted to the all-tournament 1st team. Jordan finished his freshman year with 25 double-doubles, more than 640 points and over 350 rebounds in his 31 games.
