Jason “Big Suke” Scukanec attended Brigham Young University where he had an award winning football career that included All Conference and All American honors as a offensive lineman. Following his days at BYU, Jason went on to play for both the Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League.
After his playing days, Jason went back to his other passion, radio. He got his start in radio while in college on the “King and I” show in Provo, UT. His passion for radio led him back to his childhood roots here in the Northwest as a part time fill in host here at ESPN Sports Radio 1080 The FAN for 9 months, after which he was hired full time as co-host of Primetime. He’s been manning that post now for many years and brings his unique insights and passion to The FAN's Primetime show every Monday through Friday, 3-7 PM.
Jason is a married father of 3 children; Taylor, Yzerman, and O’ren. He and his bride Rebecca currently reside in Washington. Suke enjoys long walks on the beach, gondola rides, and balloon animals. His hobbies include weaponry, evil, and country music.
Jason is the every man of sports radio, relating to everyone from blue-collar workers to the corporate boardroom. His rants and left field logic entertain, inform and stir up debate. Whether it’s sports, pop culture or the latest goings on in his life, Suke brings a unique approach to the airwaves everyday.

Music: Blues Traveler, Billy Joel and the gods of Country Music: Johnny, Willie, Merle, Bocephis and throw in some Kenny Chesney for good measure. You gotta love Kenny's style, I even rock the hat from time to time.
Movies: Field of Dreams, (the only movie that makes me cry: "Dad, wanna have a catch?"), Rocky I through IV, (let's all pretend that V never happened); the Princess Bride, (a Mormon staple); any Clint Eastwood Western, (in High Plains Drifter for example, before he says a word, Clint shoots 5 people in the barber shop and has relations with the mouthy town wench, need I say more?)
Animals: Dogs Kenai and Apollo Creed, and about 10 damn feral cats that won't leave my property.
Heroes: Steve Yzerman, Mark Messier, Han Solo, Steve McQueen, The Fonz, The bad Guy from Karate Kid Part III, and air conditioning.
TV: All time it's gotta be Seinfeld and the Simpsons. I also missed an entire semester of classes at BYU watching Saved by the Bell and Wings on the Super Station.
Videogames: Techmo Bowl, Super Techmo bowl, Punchout, EA sports College Football, Tron, Original Mortal Kombat(everything since sucks rocks)
